Call for Abstracts: Poster Session on Education and Qualification in Clinical Ethics Consultation

The fourth International International Conference on Clinical Ethics and Consultation (ICCEC) will be held as a satellite conference to the 9th World Congress of the International Society of Bioethics (IAB).This offers a particularly interesting opportunity to join the communities of both, Clinical Ethics and Bioethics at an international level. We strongly recommend that you participate in both conferences.

The IAB Congress will run from September 5 to 8, 2008.
The 4th ICCEC will have a one day program on September 4, 2008, with a plenary focus on CASE DISCUSSIONS with INTERDISCIPLINARY AND INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVES.

You are invited to submit an abstract for the poster presentation with a special focus on issues of education and qualification in the context of clinical ethics consultation. (This call is for poster presentations, only.) Within the IAB Congress there will be further opportunities for presentations and sessions on clinical ethics consultation as well as clinical ethics policies. Submissions for the IAB Congress should be completed at the Congress website:

  • Quality Assurance and improvement of Service / Evaluation

    All submissions should include:

    • Title
    • Abstract (500-word maximum) - Word count
    • Full name(s), affiliation(s), location(s), and e-mail / telephone of abstract author(s)


    All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by an international review committee.
