FAB
To all who have an interest in feminist bioethics,
The International Network on Feminis Approaches to Bioethics (FAB) is delighted to invite you to participate in our 7th International Congress, which will take place in the beautiful city of Rijeka, from 3-5 September 2008. The theme of FAB Rijeka 2008 is "Voice, Power, and Responsibility in Health Care". Please check the official Congress website or visit our website www.fabnet.org for more details.
FAB is an international organisation with members in more than twenty countries around the world. We are dedicated to the interests of women and patients, citizens, perents, practitioners and carers, and seek equity for women in all or their roles. We promote diversity and oppose all forms of oppression.
People who have papers accepted for FAB Rijeka 2008 will have the opportunity to submit their paper to a special issue of FAB's new journal: the International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics (IJFAB). Both the journal and FAB are committed to hearing feminist voices from different parts of the world, voices that speak on bioethical issues that are either global or local in scope.
Our international congresses provide a fantastic opportunity to hear participants from a wide range of backgrounds, and to discuss important issues in bioethics.
We look forward to meeting you in Croatia.
Yours sincerely,
Carolyn McLeod, FAB Co-coordinator
Wendy Rogers, FAB Co-coordinator
