CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Submission of Abstracts
The Scientific committee of the IAB 2008 invites all interested individuals to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation during the sessions. Presentations will be grouped according to the subject categories listed below. Every attempt will be made to accommodate presentation style preference; however, the congress committee reserves the right to make final decisions in this regard.

Abstract Presentation Formats
Oral Presentation:
Accepted papers will be presented in concurrent sessions at the times indicated in the Scientific Programme in this brochure. Presentation times will generally be 10 minutes; time will be allowed for discussion.
Poster:
Abstracts accepted for poster discussions will be displayed for a designated time slot in a designated area at the Congress venue. Poster Size: 1.5m (height) × 0.9m (width)
Important Dates:
Abstract Submission Deadline: 01 March 2008
Notification of Abstract Acceptance: not later than 01 May 2008
Notification of time slot for presentation: not later than 15 May 2008
Congress scolarship for Developing Country Participants
Postgraduate students or faculty members from developing countries (Group B, see Registration for details) who have an annual income below US$ 7000 are invited to submit an application for scholarship support along with their abstract; those abstracts judged by the Congress Committee of significant impact will be eligible to compete for a scholarship. In addition to funds for registration, travel and accommodation expenses, the winners will receive a certificate from the conference presidents. Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of senior scholars, whose decision is final. Early submission is encouraged, to allow applicants to seek support from other sources, if they are not awarded a full scholarship. Please use the Scholarship Application Form and choose the appropriate category when fiiling out the Registration Form.
